On the work life: I was promoted from program coordinator to program supervisor for the Parents as Teachers program at my job and also Meld ,parent support groups. I was excited for the opportunity and a little nervous since i have never been a supervisor for 7 staff members before. So needless to say I have been learning a lot and seeking God's guidance through it all. I cant imagine leading without Him. A few words, leaders need to know how to ask the right questions and not always have the right answers..or are expected too. Its all in all a great experience and work environment. I think the ladies i work with are exceptional human beings and have hearts of gold. Its always a blessing to see a worker that takes pride in their job and also their team.
Family Events: My brother graduated from high school yay! My parents-in-law have come to visit us on several occasions and we have eaten way too much Mexican food. Lol. Alan and I got to visit my grandmother and I got to show Alan the beauties of Peru.
Its been a pretty awesome year..now that i recap it all ! Thanks God. :)
So whats ahead...My best friend Jasmine is getting married in November! My best friend Sandy is going to be hitched in 2014! The last 2 comadres to tie the knot!! And God willing Alan and I will start trying to have a child...dun dun dun! :D We are very excited and feel that its about that time in life where we want to make future good citizens and most of all become parents. <3
